ADITYA TYAGI
Overview
Real change happens when many work together. As president of the Connect2Health chapter at my school, I lead my peers in serving our community. I’ve organized donation drives, volunteer events like packing food and naloxone kits, and fundraisers that make a real difference. I’ve also partnered with health sciences schools at the University of Arizona through University District Street Medicine to coordinate free public health screening events, bringing much-needed healthcare services directly to those in need.
Facing the harsh realities of inequity in my own community has often been frustrating, but the satisfaction of seeing my efforts directly benefit people is beyond compare. As I pursue a career in healthcare, I am committed to continuing hands-on service and working collaboratively with teams to maximize positive impact.

Coming soon: My EMT training and ride-along externship have solidified why I chose medicine. The split-second decisions, adrenaline rush of saving a life, and profound satisfaction of making a difference confirmed there is no greater gift than restoring health or being the difference between life and death. After a summer preparing to become a licensed EMT and working alongside ambulance crews, I can’t imagine myself in any other field. This is the work I want to dedicate my life to.
